We had the Nintendo Direct happen this week, and they didn't announce a new Mario game, I did see predictions a new 3D Mario game as it has been 9 years since Super Mario Odyssey, and while Donkey Kong Bananza was made by the same team, I don't know if that counts when it is a Donkey Kong game. They did announce a Super Mario tie-in event for Donkey Kong Bananza, which will happen for a limited time.
To go over this video, I play as Pauline, and I use the Aero costume for her, and the vehicle is B Dasher, which was decided by the Mario Kart World randomizer. Pauline is one of two characters to only have one alternate costume, the other is Donkey Kong, and I do remember the speculation from when Donkey Kong Bananza came out that we would get two characters from that game as DLC for this game, but it didn't happen, I am still surprised that they didn't announce DLC for this game, even though it has been a year since this game came out.
