Gotta ink those walls! Gotta splat the Smallfry too, if you have a Roller, which I do. Oh, and watch out for the Grillers maybe? Fifteen seconds in and we're down to one squid. A nicely tossed Splat Bombs gets us back up, and I focus properly, splatting the Grillers first, and taking care of the Smallfry for everyone else. I still get splatted, because we remain a bit of a shambles, but an Inkjet revives us, before I run away, luring the Grillers away from the basket and the eggs. I take one for the team, which apparently the team don't realise and get splatted too, but we meet quota and just about survive the wave.

The second wave gives me the Splattershot Jr, so I can properly ink the walls. I let a squidmate splat one Fish Finger, which seems to take a while, and I move on to the second. I look to stay up there to splat a Flyfish in peace, but a Stinger has other ideas, and I have to move on. I help splat the Stinger, a Maws, drop a Snatcher, and manoeuvre to redirect a Drizzler's missile back its way. A Steelhead is lingering, a squidmate needs help, and more Maws appear. We have too many Flyfish, though, so I try to help there, only to find myself alone. No problem, I throw a Splat Bomb and drop a Splashdown on top of an obstinate squidmate waddling away from me. That clears some turf, but it's still a bit hectic, and we need eggs. I get splatted by a Chum next to the basket, but my now-revived squidmates make sure we hit quota.

On to the third wave, and we get more room to move. But the skies go dark again, and we have Glowflies. After Grillers, I'm not sure about this. But I'm talking to two squidmates, and call them across, before showing them about the two-ledge hop that helps ease some pressure. We have a Flingza Roller too, which is pretty powerful here, but our rando has it, and isn't quite as au fait with the slow drag required for optimum performance. We can work with it. Maybe all the leaping isn't that efficient, instead of splatting all the salmonids, but it gives time to offload eggs, which is ultimately what we need, and after a bit of initial confusion we sail through the wave. Nice!

But it's not over, as Horrorboros is sighted! I have no idea what's happening to start, but soon get in to the swing of things, and fall off the ledge. That just puts me closer to the eggs, if not Horrorboros. But moving to Boros finds more bosses, which means more eggs. I have to splat them, though, which I try to do, making a bit of a meal of things. All the while, Boros just flies overhead. I get back in to range, and do the classic move of throwing a Splat Bomb and not an egg, but never mind. I reorientate myself, get one egg on target out of five, and, I think it's fair to say, almost forget I have a Splashdown. But I remember, and start hitting my egg throws, and with time running down I just start blasting at the mouth-bomb. Coupled with an squidmate hitting with an actual egg, it's just enough to get us a single silver scale. Woomy!
