Sony A9III with FE70-200mm f/2.8GMII, 60P, 1/4000th f/2.8, 125 ISO, 4:2:2, 4K. I used the "Tracking ON" setting in the Sony A9III to capture this footage of a mountain biker tearing through the woods near OKC last weekend. I followed the biker from the top of the trail, zoomed out as he got closer, and was amazed at how well the tracking AF was (flawless) and how there was no rolling shutter as he whizzed by me with all those trees in the background. The Sony A9III is perhaps easier to justify for video use than even for stills. No banding, no flicker, no rolling shutter equals perhaps the best full frame option on the planet right now for under $100,000.00.
