I love to shoot on the streets of NYC and my favorite camera and lens to do so with with the Sony A7CII and the Sony 40mm f/2.5G lens. This combination makes me pictures and makes me happy. Shooting a prime for street photography simplifies everything. One camera, one lens, one card, one battery. Done! The 40mm lens is great because it's sharp, has no distortion, and weighs just 6 ounces. I can also instantly toggle it to a 60mm field of view by zooming on sensor, or what we call "punching in." I re-task the focus hold button for this purpose.
