In the past, I've posted videos showing my most favorite lenses like the 135mm f/1.8GM, the 50mm f/1.2GM, the 70-200mm f/2.8GMII. Strangely this year, none of those past champions made the list. I shoot a really mixed bag of sports, PJ, portrait work, corporate work, and a lot of video production. With the advent of Sony's new FE28-70mm f/2GM and the FE50-150mm f/2GM lenses, most of my favorite primes have been sold off. I'm finding new freedom where I always have the right lens with the added advantage that they don't look like zoom images, they look like they were shot with fast primes. I love the pair of them plus the FE300mm f/2.8GM tops off the trinity with it's lack of weight, super sharp rendering, and lightning fast AF with and without teleconverters. With just these three I can go from 28-600mm if I include the two teleconverters. I feel better now that I ever have in that I have the best possible lenses for whatever my next assignment is!
