Day trip on the skis to ski and bushwhack into another lake we have never seen. We use a top-down fire technique for the lunch fire. Some ice safety notes. We ski back along the bog/fen mat and avoid most of the hard bushwhack on the way back. A good way to spend a day in northwestern Ontario boreal forest.
