In Part 1 of this 4-day solo hot tent series, I haul the toboggan in with a full load of hot tent gear, along with my skis which I plan to use for day-trip exploring later.

The snow conditions were ideal for hauling a toboggan, with a crust on top from a rain a few days ago, and the temperature was now about -8C. The toboggan was sliding very easily on this melted and re-frozen surface - its not always this easy hauling.
