Sandvik tools were bought out by Bahco. This old black and orange Sandvik pruning saw is the exact same saw as the newer green model Bacho Laplander. The saw cuts very well with the softwood I use for fire (pine, spruce, fir). Takes the same blades in their catalogue (396-JT or PG-72). Although orange is not a favoured bushcraft color, I prefer the bright colour for some of my gear since in my old age, I tend to forget where I put things, and this is visible and hopefully I won't lose it, or forget to pack it up when I leave. I like my olive drab gear too. I am lucky where I go on public land that I don't have to stealth trek, but I understand why folks in some areas want and need stealthy bush colors to blend in totally.
