Breakfast with re-heated sausage and hot granola with dried fruit. The usual morning routine on a lazy lay-over day during a 4-day solo hot tent trip, early February, 2012. These lazy base camp trips are part of my physical and mental "bush recovery" from the hectic urban world. On night 1 I often sleep 10-11 hours! Then its a luxuriously quiet and unhurried morning in the hot tent, burning wood, soaking it all it all in, and thinking about what I might do that day. It really is worth all the work and planning to get into the bush!
