In Part 7, I continue on down the Little Savant River into the bigger wild rice beds. I show a traditional canoe channel in shallow rapids. Canoe channels are made by people moving rocks in rapids, and are rarely found these days. Portage challenges are encountered. Some boreal forest ecology discussion. And more food cooked on the fire.
