What's up Geekly Goods fam! 🤯 Sebastian Stan just confirmed what we've all been suspecting, he is officially playing Harvey Dent in The Batman: Part II.
This comes from a new interview with the French outlet Le Journal du Dimanche, where Stan was actually talking about the secrecy around Avengers: Doomsday, saying, "We didn't have a script. We were just shooting scattered scenes." He then unexpectedly shifted the conversation and added, "I also can't say anything about The Batman: Part II, by Matt Reeves, where I embody Harvey Dent." I did not expect him to drop that in the middle of an unrelated answer, but it finally puts months of speculation to rest.
This settles a genuine back-and-forth debate too, since earlier reports had actually suggested Stan might be playing the serial killer Victor Zsasz instead, with Brian Tyree Henry taking on Harvey Dent. Now we know for certain it's the other way around. The last live-action Harvey Dent was Aaron Eckhart in The Dark Knight, so it'll be interesting to see how Stan and Matt Reeves put their own spin on this character. The Batman: Part II arrives in theaters February 18th, 2028.
