What's up Geekly Goods fam! 🤯 Marvel just locked in three incredible films for 2028, and this officially marks the studio's first three-movie year since 2025. Let's go over each one.
First up, X-Men arrives May 5th, 2028, and we just got the full cast reveal at D23, including Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, Christopher Abbott, Adam Driver, Inde Navarrette, Maya Boyd, and Samara Weaving. That should make for a genuinely exciting debut. Next, Ghost Rider is confirmed for July 28th, 2028, with Ryan Gosling officially leading the role and Shawn Levy directing, reuniting the same team behind Star Wars: Starfighter. And finally, Black Panther 3 rounds things out on December 15th, 2028, with David Jonsson set to star as the new Black Panther, T'Challa's son, alongside Denzel Washington joining the MCU.
With Spider-Man: Brand New Day closing in on $1.8 billion worldwide, it's clear the trade is no longer viewing Marvel through that old superhero-fatigue lens, and this stacked 2028 slate proves the studio is fully betting big again.
