What's up Geekly Goods fam! 🤩 Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is officially confirmed as the next chapter in the Spider-Verse saga, arriving in theaters June 18th, 2027, and here are four things we know about the project right now.
Number one, production has ramped up heavily, with Jake Johnson and Hailee Steinfeld both back in the recording booth, and Shameik Moore has also been recording his lines for the film. Number two, Sony Animation completely overhauled their production pipeline for this film, giving writers the ability to tweak and iterate scenes during early development in ways previous installments couldn't. Number three, The Spot is reportedly getting a terrifying new visual redesign to reflect just how powerful he's become following the events of Across the Spider-Verse. And number four, Phil Lord and Chris Miller have confirmed that this film is being built as a fully native IMAX experience, with brand new animation styles and digital rendering tools developed specifically for massive premium screens.
