Konietzko explained that while every project has its own unique art style, the goal is still to make them all feel connected, essentially acting as different windows into the same larger world. He believes each project deserves its own visual identity, and we could not agree more. Aang's original world in Avatar: The Last Airbender is so creative, visual, and unique, and then Legend of Korra completely shifted things into a more futuristic setting driven by a tech revolution, which gave the franchise a totally different feel while still staying rooted in the same universe.
Now with the new Avatar series, we're getting a post-apocalyptic world, and we're incredibly excited to explore that alongside the new Avatar, Pavi.
