After running East Holmes Field parkrun last weekend, we headed over to Scarborough so that I could regain my Regionnaire status. That means I will have run all parkruns in Yorkshire and The Humber, but for you the challenge will be whatever region it is that you are parkruning in.
This parkrun had incredibly good course planning with the start and finish both under bridges that provide shelter for the volunteers. Even on the most miserable day they have somewhere dry to be based. It's a great out-and-back course with the additional wiggle on the return leg adding a lovely bit of variety. I love running under bridges, although evidently I am terrible at counting them! I definitely recommend a visit here and it would be a great one to visit in the summer being so close to the coast. Worth a visit as the team here are extremely lovely too and have worked so hard to bring parkrun to Scarborough.
Huge thanks to the whole of the volunteer team for a really lovely morning despite the horrid weather. I am always extra grateful to our wonderful volunteers when it's not a nice day!
