I recently became a Run Leeds Ambassador. The role involves sending a positive message about running and encouraging people to run. The Run Leeds website is full of great information about events in Leeds, routes and articles etc. If you're reading this then you've probably already realised I love running, so becoming a Run Leeds Ambassador seemed a natural fit!
This was my first event as a Run Leeds Ambasador and my first chance to meet other Run Leeds Ambassadors which I was really excited about! The fact that we got to race together was the icing on the cake! This event was put together by Run Leeds (Active Leeds), Leeds Dock Running Club, the Recovery Runners, Leeds Dock, and GoodGym. All proceeds went to charity to raise money for Recovery Runners. Teams were made up of up to four people and it was a race to see which team could run the most one mile laps in an hour.
It was a great format and a brilliant way to spend a Friday evening in Leeds!
Happy running,
Nicola :)
