For some reason it's taken me over a decade to realise that there's a load of parkruns around Manchester that are only an hour from my house?! This was a LONG overdue visit to the wonderful South Manchester parkrun.
Visiting in the summer meant no Ditch of Doom, just a flat, fast two lapper around the gorgeous Platt Fields Park. With the cherry blossom in bloom and blue skies then we really saw this parkrun in its best light.
I highly recommend a visit here, there's so many reasons why but fairly close to the top of my list has to be MUD Kitchen! The post parkrun breakfast was out of this world!
