We were in the Lake District for a family weekend and having already run Keswick, Whinlatter and freedom run Fell Foot then we decided to head out to the coast to visit Maryport Prom parkrun. I adore smaller parkruns and this was no exception. An extremely wonderful community and a beautiful out-and-back parkrun. There are several spots along the parkrun route where you can camp out if you are in a van. Toilets are a few minutes walk into town.
I definitely recommend checking out the café as we really enjoyed Redbys for the food and the community vibes.
