Whew. It took some doing with this ship. It's powerful, but I had to practice.
Pros
- The Tentacle Force can expand and retract with horizontal movement. This makes it a highly defensive Force.
- The red weapon is super powered when retracted. Sometimes you don't even need the Wave Cannon when you're using it because it's so powerful!
- The blue weapon will hook on to stronger enemies, dealing continuous damage.
- The Force will home in and shoot while detached, often getting right on top of your enemy and dealing significant damage.
- The Wave Cannon is an explosive AoE that is good for clearing out popcorn enemies.
Cons
- The ship graphic does not match its hitbox.
- The blue weapon is relatively weak.
- The yellow weapon is a pair of tentacles that hover int front of the Force while its retracted and wrap around the ship while they're expanded. It's difficult to aim them where you want.
- The Force can move after random enemies - use it at your own risk when there's a lot on the screen.
- The missile leaves a lot to be desired, as it's an air to ground attack.
- The Delta attack warps the screen, so please be careful when moving when you use it! You don't want to crash into something lethal.
So much went wrong with this playthrough. That's kinda how I knew I'd succeed while I was recording. A lot of times when things go perfectly, I make a critical error and get killed later on, hehe.
I always practice stages 5, 6, and 7 with the ships. I feel like the game really starts with stage 5, and I get super nervous while I'm recording, so I practice over and over.
It took me a while to get this recording because I have a ton of performance anxiety. XD
