Here's a dual hunt against some lesser Large Monsters.
My character is modeled after Susannah Dean from "The Dark Tower" and has been for a few years now.
The Grypceros has a few notable moves - first, it has a flash from its head that can stun your character. This is easily mitigated with the Lance's shield. The second is that it spits poison while running around. I had to wear my Poison Talisman to prevent that. There is a point in the fight when it will keel over and look dead, but don't let this fool you - you can't hurt it when it's doing this, and if you're standing close to it when it wakes itself up, you'll take damage. That's why I drank a Potion and sharpened my weapon while I was waiting.
The Blangonga is an ice primate that can freeze you with its breath. I would've ordinarily worn my Bind Talisman, but as I had to use the Poison Talisman for the Grypceros, there was a point where I got stuck in place. This thing has a few moves that will stall you - it roars a lot, breaking you out of your charges or whatever else you're doing unless you have Earplugs, which I almost never do - and it always has a lot of its boys hanging around getting in the way and making a nuisance of themselves. I was being a cool guy and fighting with the Hammer because this monster is not too difficult.
I have my damage values set to the Raw rating as opposed to the Bloated ones. When you see my minimal Attack Up 3, it gains some significance when you're looking at the Raw values and you see that you get 3 up when your weapon is valued at 200-230. With the Bloated values it makes the Attack Up seem unnecessary, but it's actually really helpful.
