Bydo System Gamma is the third in the Bydo System series of ships. The red weapon is a spiked wheel that fires straight ahead. The blue weapon fires crawling bugs at 45 degree angles from the Force. The yellow weapon fires two large cylinders that drop bullets up and down on enemies. The Bydo Force won't fire bullets when detached, instead raining acid below it, limiting its effectiveness. The missiles are the Bydo version of Homing Missiles, and as usual, are good for all situations. The Bydo style Bits are comparable to the Round Bits, and will fire with the red weapon equipped. The Devil Wave Cannon fires from the back of the ship and emerges from the top, homing in on enemies.
This stage is an homage to R-Type Final's F-B. As in that stage, you fight against multiple R-Series fighters, the most dangerous of which are the Andromalius and Wise Man. The differences between all other difficulties and R-Typer is the amount of R-Types that spawn, as well as the absence of the Midnight Eye spy planes on R-Typer, being replaced by Melt Craft. I practiced this stage over and over and OVER on R-Typer, and I could make it to the boss about 75% of the time, and then I would get killed by making a mistake. I resorted to Bydo difficulty because of that.
The boss is the R99 Last Dancer, and starts with the Standard Force, switching to the Dantalion's Life Force, Principalities' Fire Force, Wise Man's Standard Force H, and finally the Hades' monstrous Anchor Force. The R99 shares all of their respective Wave Cannons. In general, it fires Homing Missiles at you, but when it starts charging the Mega Wave Cannon at the end, it starts shooting four Homing Missiles at a time, like the transformer ships are capable of. You cannot time this boss out, and if you let it finish charging its Final Wave Cannon, you'll die no matter what.
