November 4, 2002 - Rod Langway becomes the second player (Mike Gartner was inducted a year earlier) and the first defenseman in Capitals' history to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Found this in the recording of a random game in my collection. Didn't see it posted anywhere else, I figure the only Norris Trophy-winning defenseman in Caps history (for now, at least) ought to have his Hall of Fame speech watchable somewhere.
