Were the Old Testament saints born again? According to R.C Sproul they were. Were they partakers of the divine nature? Could they be new creations in Christ, united with Christ, crucified with Christ and followers of Christ when they had never heard of Christ?
Only prophets and kings had the Holy Spirit upon them, and none of them were ‘temples of the Holy Spirit’ for the presence of God dwelt in the physical temple, holy and unapproachable behind a 10 cm (4 inch) veil, the same veil which was torn apart from top to bottom only after Jesus offered a perfect sacrifice for sin.
