1. Sobinist recently found that you can use an airswim to get past the door in Sanctuary of Water and Ice. This clip shows how the trick could be used in a 100% run. This strategy is about 42 seconds faster than collecting the orbs, but still 33 seconds slower than using the door clip (assuming the clip is done perfectly). I think this trick is much easier than the door clip, but there is a danger that the game will freeze, as shown in #2.
2. When you're doing the trick above, there's a certain place where the game can freeze. It seems to happen about 10-15% of the time, though maybe I've just been unlucky. One time, I got a huge jump before the game froze. Perhaps that jump can be replicated in other parts of the game.
3. Gamepro011 recently found a way to clip through a tree in Whale Bay, which lets you skip freeing Carmen in an any% run. In 100%, it's faster to free Carmen because there are some nearby lums you need, but you can still save time by clipping through the tree and falling near the switch.
4. A small timesaver in Sanctuary of Rock and Lava. If you jump off the wooden platform, you can shoot the purple lum earlier than usual. I've done this in runs that I've posted, but I don't think I've ever pointed it out.
The rest of the clips are just weird things that have happened to me.
5. It looks like getting hit and jumping from an edge somehow gave me a big jump. The falling platform might have had something to do with it.
6. If you grab the edge here without landing in the water, you can get the swimming music to play while you're walking around. There are a few other places in the level where you can do this.
7. For some reason, the loading zone here wasn't functioning, so I kept running until I fell out of bounds.
8. I managed to swing up and over a purple lum, which usually doesn't happen.
9. This one is weird. The normal screen fade didn't occur and the next area loaded a little faster than usual.
10. Some weird walking shell physics.
