I beat Team Snakemouth EX with the HARDEST and RUIGEE menu codes (and no others) and at rank 1. The enemy's stats, which are visible with Spy Specs, are as follows:
Vi: 104 HP, 2 defense
Kabbu: 133 HP, 3 defense
Leif: 104 HP, 2 defense
Compared to the regular (non-EX) version of the battle, the enemies have 28% more HP and 1 more attack power. I used the following medal setup:
Life Cast (Leif)
HP Core x 2 (Leif)

With these medals, Leif can use Bubble Shield Lite every turn while Chompy and the helper kill the enemies. This strategy makes most battles trivial, but the Team Snakemouth battle is an exception. Dark Kabbu's taunt affects the whole party, including people with Bubble Shields. In the next round, taunted allies can't use skills or items and can't turn relay. This prevents me from using Bubble Shield, which means that I can easily get killed by powerful attacks like Ice Rain. To try to avoid this, I gave Leif all the Heart Berries and Iron Seeds. During the battle, I tried to keep his HP high to improve his odds of surviving the next round after a taunt.
Killing Dark Kabbu to prevent him from taunting would help, but there are a few factors making it difficult to do so:
* He is behind Dark Vi, so neither Chompy nor Maki can reach him until she's dead.
* He has the highest HP and defense of the three enemies.
* He has Favorite One equipped, so attacking him gives each of the others a +1 charge.
I tried a number of strategies in this battle. One idea I had was killing Dark Leif (mostly using Fly Drop) before Maki kills Dark Vi. If Dark Vi dies first, Maki will start attacking Dark Kabbu, causing Dark Leif to receive charges. But killing Dark Leif this way is tough to do and consumes a lot of healing items. I only managed to kill him once, and I died shortly afterward because I was out of items. Eventually, I decided to try killing the enemies from left to right: Dark Vi, Dark Kabbu, Dark Leif. This would cause Dark Leif to receive a charge every time Dark Kabbu was attacked, an outcome I had wanted to avoid. Ultimately, though, this strategy was successful, and is the one used in the video.
Regardless of what strategy is used, the enemies are bound to revive one another many times. Dark Kabbu frequently revives Dark Vi immediately after she is killed, and he can even use Miracle Shake to revive both Dark Vi and Dark Leif at the same time. So, as high as the enemies' combined HP is, I had to deal much more damage than that to finish the battle.
Dark Kabbu seems much less likely to taunt if there is only one party member standing, though he can still do it. I was quite lucky here; starting when Kabbu died about 16 minutes in, I went the rest of the battle with no taunts. My plan was to revive Kabbu and Vi after surviving a post-taunt round, but I never needed to.
