A while back, I posted a video showing how to get SSS in every world in the first Boxboy with no costume:

It's also possible to do this in the second Boxboy, but for a couple reasons, I didn't make a video. First, I found the box limits in that game to be very lenient. Second, there is no Marathon Mode, so the endurance aspect of getting SSS in the first game is gone. For these reasons, once you've beaten a world, it's easy to do it again with an S rank. So, I figured it wasn't worth the effort to make a video. However, in the third game, some of the box limits are quite tight; there were a number of worlds where I had to make multiple passes through the levels and experiment a fair amount in order to reduce the box count. Even without Marathon Mode, I'd say the difficulty of getting SSS in every world with no costume in the third Boxboy is on par with the difficulty of doing the same in the first game. So, I decided to make a video.
Most of the video is self-explanatory, but I use two techniques that merit additional discussion: the walk-off and the walk-on. See the description of the video linked above for an explanation of these techniques. I should note that I wasn't going for minimum boxes in this video; for the most part, I stopped looking for improvements in a world once I had SSS. Looking over the video now, there are a few places where I could easily save a box or two.
