Here I review the new (as of Sept. 2017) Port Askaig 110 Proof Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It is the first bottling of Port Askaig to hit US shelves, and it’s a great one. It retails at $60 and is made up entirely of young Caol Ila (I’m guessing 6-8 years old).

As of 10-2017, my current bottle count stands at over 2,400 bottles. I am a Certified Specialist of Spirits and have also been certified by the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT). I've been actively collecting for the last two decades and what started as a small basic home bar has transformed (with the help and understanding of my wonderful wife) into what I think is a pretty nice collection.
