We continue to archive various Anomaly Games and today we archive the official sequel (or should I say prequel?) to Exit 8. After the huge success of Exit 8 a whole bunch of clones were made by various developers using a similar name and most were absolute trash. Therefore people got excited when the original creators came up with a new game and Platform 8 does not disappoint as it mixes up the formula in a nice, new way.
Instead of having to look for an anomaly, you are tasked with going through a never-ending train and surviving various anomalies that happen along the way. Some anomalies are entirely safe and are purely meant to scare you. Others can actually take you out and set you back all the way at the beginning. There are plenty of cool and unique anomalies and a few got me really good with their jumpscares. The ending was also very satisfying with how it ties into the Exit 8 timeline. This was the final game from this development team I believe and both Platform and Exit 8 make a wonderful, little narrative that I enjoyed archiving for future generations.
