81 days sitting at City of San Antonio Animal Care Services while dogs around him leave… and somehow this sweet senior boy is STILL waiting.
Kitty is an 8-year-old American Bulldog/Staffy mix who continues to greet handlers with a loose body and wagging tail despite being failed over and over again by the system.
Shelter notes show: Social with handlers, Loose body & wagging tail, Easy to leash & walk outside; Knows “sit”; Takes treats gently by hand; Heartworm NEGATIVE.
After nearly three months in the shelter, Kitty deserves more than a kennel.
He deserves soft beds, peace, stability, and someone who sees beyond his age and gives him the love he’s been waiting for.
Senior dogs are so often overlooked in shelters, yet they are some of the most grateful, loyal, and loving companions you could ever ask for. Kitty should not spend another day wondering if he matters.
🚨 Kitty has been at risk since 03/04/2026 due to kennel capacity. Every extra day in the shelter puts him more at risk.
Please let me say that again.
