We were due to meet friends for a walk in the Peak District and so it made perfect sense to head via Glossop to check out Manor Park, and Glossop parkrun. This run very much reminded me of Pavilion Gardens parkrun in Buxton with the different sections of the park sewn together by the parkrun route. Glossop parkrun has the added bonus of some lovely trail sections too.
The start of the parkrun was disorganised only in as far as a few children totally ran off from their adults who were trying desperately to stay with them! The actual organisation at this parkrun was perfection and the team were so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend a trip to both cafés as they were both wonderful in very different ways.
A great parkrun in a spectacular location, the Peak District was as stunning as always!
