This wonderful clock was missing some good parts that would cost a lot of money. Lucky for me, I had the main parts already in my stock. Here, we had a winder that didn't wind very nice and I show how I fixed that as well. The topper didn't match that I had in my stock, so I used Denatured Alcohol to help remove the color, then re-stained the topper with a walnut stain to match.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
