I went to a Garage Sale and found this clock sitting on a table. I never find wind up clock. No price, so I had to ask. $10.00 he said, but the main spring is broken. I grabbed up the clock and went to work on it. I think he or someone tried to work on the clock because of how clean it was, (free of dust and oils). The main spring was broken and parts of it was missing, the Verge was missing as well. Come see what I did to fix this clock.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
