I got in this clock that I am sure, fell off the wall. The whole case was coming apart including the figures on the front. At one time, someone tried to fix this clock. They made the clay window and upper sill to hold the windows, I changed it to wood. Here I take the movement apart, clean and oil it then reassemble and explain some of the parts and what they do.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
