This clock wasn't that bad of a price for what it was. Here I Remove the movement, take it apart for cleaning including the Barrel Springs by hand. Part 2 will show the movement going back together, shining up the brass parts, Dial and pendulum and getting the whole clock back together and running order.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
