This was a nice clock to work on with the exception of winding the springs back up to install them back into the frame. This clock has two winding holes and no gong. Both springs run the time only. These springs have a lot of power in each of them. Check this one out to see the insides of the clock.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
