At a garage sale, I found this Banjo Clock. She only wanted $2.00 for it. Brought it home and plugged it in. Nothing. I open the back and plugged it in again and with a little help, the clock was running again. Here I show what I did to help the movement with oil and cleaned up the case with 0000# steel wool to remove the built up dust, oils and or waxes too show the wood again. Then wax the clock with Howard Feed-n-Wax.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
