In this Palworld 1.0 tutorial, I show you how to power your base with electricity so you can use more advanced workstations, machines, and crafting structures that require power.
As you progress in Palworld, some of the better base workstations will not run on basic Pal labor alone. They need electricity. To generate electricity, you need to build a Power Generator at your base and assign an Electric Pal to charge it. Once the Electric Pal zaps the generator, your powered machines can start working.
The Power Generator is useful because it acts as both a generator and a battery pack. That means it can store electricity after your Electric Pal charges it, letting your base keep running for a while even when the Pal is not actively generating power. However, if your base is using a lot of advanced workstations or electric machines, you may want to build a second Power Generator so you have more stored power and fewer interruptions.
In this guide, I show how base power works in Palworld 1.0, why some workstations need electricity, how to build and use the Power Generator, how Electric Pals generate power, why a second generator can help, and how to keep your base supplied with enough electricity for crafting and production.
There is also another option: you can build a treadmill and use a captured human to generate electricity. It works, but it is not as efficient as using an Electric Pal with a Power Generator. So if you want your base to run smoothly, Electric Pals are still the better choice. The treadmill is more of a backup option, or a deeply questionable HR decision.
If you are trying to power your base in Palworld 1.0, generate electricity, use advanced workstations, build a Power Generator, assign Electric Pals, store base power, run machines, or understand how the human treadmill works, this video will show you what to do.
Thanks for watching.
