This video simply follows the story told in ROTS, showing Anakin's fall to the dark side and how he "took away" himself everything he wanted to protect.
I started this video when I was in the middle of all the big tests at school, so it was easy to choose such a depressing theme...and now that school is finally OVER (today was the last day! YAY for freedom!) on the contrary I found it very difficult to finish this one ^^
I really love this song by Red, but I'm not used to editing fast songs, so I feel like the video came out kinda rushed and not the best it could have been - so sorry for that!
In particular, I wanted to thank you all the amazing people who subscribed and befriended me here on YT, and keep following my work and getting in touch even if my crazy school year didn't allow me much time to chat or reply quickly...I love you so much! Thanks for making me reach 80+ subs, I would've never thought that possible! I hope to never disappoint you and I will always try my best :)

A summary to the inception of this video: Vale gets sucked into a new fandom, catches one of her notorious sympathy for the devil cases, ends up only really rooting ship-wise for the one ship in said show that eventually explodes into a supernova of angst, and suffers for it. See a pattern? Because I do xD when will I ever learn, honestly.
I can safely say Im never regretting finally picking up Voltron though granted, I might have wanted to pick a less crazy season to culminate my episodes-marathon with ^^ but this show is amazing in every possible way. Multi-layered, relatable, diverse and engaging characters at every corner, deep themes and amazing art style make it the real virtual heir to ATLA that LOK never quite was to me. After seeing so many gorgeous edits around its so exciting to be able to join the fray!
There are so many things and people worth vidding about in the show (makes me wish I didnt suck so much at general videos) and I have a lot of favourites, but these two had to take precedence because...after seeing s5 and s6 one after the other I needed some serious elaboration of feels. This is the result, which I hope doesnt show too much how new to the fandom I am ^^
As for Lotor himself, who is a bit of a hot topic at the moment...I have lots, lots to say about him and Ill thank the stars forever for Anouk and Becca, aka the ones who prompted me to finally dive into VLD, to have born with my ramblings these past couple of weeks in which I have annoyed them to no end (and especially Anouk, who doesnt even like him all that much ^^) here I will just say that, however you see him, he is amazingly complex and one of the most fascinating antagonists in recent media, I think. Despite his terrible deeds, I still believe he has it in him to do right by the end of this story and deserves to have a shot at freeing himself from the shadows of his upbringing, but I suppose only time will tell which reading of him is correct and if he really is just a charming, crafty bastard (for which I will probably love him no less) xD. In the meantime, I was overly glad to hear the producers confirm his feelings for Allura as very real a tiny bit of vindication as a shipper, and perhaps a clue that he really isnt 24/7 manipulating people. Arent shades of grey better in a character anyway?

So I must surrender? My vision, and...my hearts desire?

Crawling out of my hole to put my hands back on good ol Poldark, and to vid this unexpected ship I found myself shipping. I honestly really liked most of this last seasons additions to the cast – I adore Drake/Morwenna, the purest souls in Cornwall; and even vicar Osborne as disgusting as he is had his semi-comical moments (and the actor is phenomenal). As for the other prettyface in specific question here, aka Hugh Armitage...I really didnt want to like him at the beginning, having an inkling of what was going to happen. But he has been nothing but sweet and in an adorable state of awe of Demelza, their chemistry together has been off the charts, he has never pressured her into things and his heartfelt poems would melt any heart. Demelza on the other hand has been as honest as she could (not to mention patient!) with Ross, has laid bare her heart over and over again and remained steadfast, while he keeps brushing off their issues, being cold and not at all honest about Elizabeth (and lets not start about his infuriating narrow-mindedness about public offices). It has taken him two whole seasons to maybe start thinking about being less of an ass, and I honestly hope this one last cold shower finally wakes him up a bit.
I also jumped at the spark of inspiration to vid these two because my dearest Laura (laurakenji) has a bit of a crush on Josh from what I know! Cara Gen, come forse ormai sai io con video di compleanno o cose simili sono un disastro e non riesco mai ad essere giusta coi tempi, ma visto anche lultimo periodo piuttosto difficile per te e i discorsi seri fatti a maggior ragione ci tenevo a dedicarti qualcosa, senza una particolare occasione correlata, che spero ti faccia sorridere per un paio di minuti ♥
I also wanted to say Im deeply sorry about any misshap with collab parts I owed people that has happened over these five months. I am not usually so sloppy, but I had to take a serious break from YT for quite a while because I kinda had a mental breakdown not too long ago, and my assessment of my self-worth probably touched its lowest ever. I couldnt open SV, or really do anything without feeling stupid and useless; and much of it is/was related to my being stuck in my university for a long time. So after touching this record low, Ive finally made the decision to change almost everything about my studying choices, and try to ignore external judgement as much as possible...because I dont ever want to get to that point again. Starting anew completely from scratch at my age is scary as hell, but I truly hope doing something I like with my life will help me regain my self confidence. Getting back to vidding is a sidestep in that direction too, I guess – but I still feel bad if it has inconvenienced any of you. Ill try my best to make it up in the future!

Another video finished overnight, because Im just about to leave again -for Greece this time!- and I only had yesterday and tonight to make this in time for the deadline (seems its becoming a habit. Sorry if this is anything but good!). And another one for MVT! I cant believe Ive come this far into the contest! But theres no way Im going to pass the round with this rushed vid (again)...anyway, considering the very short time I had, I think the outcome is at least in the realm of bare decency ;_;
For this round we had to vid a scene we wanted to change in the series. I chose Merlins retrieval of Excalibur in 3x13. Seriously, was I the only one who waited the whole episode for an actual Merlin/Freya reunion?? When she told him from the magical water that she would see him again I just jumped on my chair with excitement for them to actually reunite, even for the briefest of moments...and then we only got to see her arm! These two so deserved a final moment together.

This video is the direct product of my COL - aka Compulsive Obsessive Laziness syndrome that hit me in these days when I had absolutely no will to study. Easter holidays were really bad for my concentration, it seems ^^
I was inspired to make this video after seeing Remember Who You Are by the always-amazing LeahMarie624 (check her channel! http://www.youtube.com/user/LeahMarie624), which is an instrumental vid with the soundtrack from Beauty and the Beast (one of my favourite Disney films). After seeing that, I started thinking about my fave Disney soundtracks...and when I thought of Mulan I knew I had to vid something to its music, its too good!
And what else could I vid for my first all-intrumental vid? but Star Wars, of course.
The video follows Luke Skywalkers journey to discover the ways of the Force and also the truth about his (and his fathers) past.
