Crawling out of my hole to put my hands back on good ol' Poldark, and to vid this unexpected ship I found myself shipping. I honestly really liked most of this last season's additions to the cast – I adore Drake/Morwenna, the purest souls in Cornwall; and even vicar Osborne as disgusting as he is had his semi-comical moments (and the actor is phenomenal). As for the other prettyface in specific question here, aka Hugh Armitage...I really didn't want to like him at the beginning, having an inkling of what was going to happen. But he has been nothing but sweet and in an adorable state of awe of Demelza, their chemistry together has been off the charts, he has never pressured her into things and his heartfelt poems would melt any heart. Demelza on the other hand has been as honest as she could (not to mention patient!) with Ross, has laid bare her heart over and over again and remained steadfast, while he keeps brushing off their issues, being cold and not at all honest about Elizabeth (and let's not start about his infuriating narrow-mindedness about public offices). It has taken him two whole seasons to maybe start thinking about being less of an ass, and I honestly hope this one last cold shower finally wakes him up a bit.
I also jumped at the spark of inspiration to vid these two because my dearest Laura (laurakenji) has a bit of a crush on Josh from what I know! Cara Gen, come forse ormai sai io con video di compleanno o cose simili sono un disastro e non riesco mai ad essere giusta coi tempi, ma visto anche l'ultimo periodo piuttosto difficile per te e i discorsi "seri" fatti a maggior ragione ci tenevo a dedicarti qualcosa, senza una particolare occasione correlata, che spero ti faccia sorridere per un paio di minuti ♥
I also wanted to say I'm deeply sorry about any misshap with collab parts I owed people that has happened over these five months. I am not usually so sloppy, but I had to take a serious break from YT for quite a while because I kinda had a mental breakdown not too long ago, and my assessment of my self-worth probably touched its lowest ever. I couldn't open SV, or really do anything without feeling stupid and useless; and much of it is/was related to my being stuck in my university for a long time. So after touching this record low, I've finally made the decision to change almost everything about my studying choices, and try to ignore external judgement as much as possible...because I don't ever want to get to that point again. Starting anew completely from scratch at my age is scary as hell, but I truly hope doing something I like with my life will help me regain my self confidence. Getting back to vidding is a sidestep in that direction too, I guess – but I still feel bad if it has inconvenienced any of you. I'll try my best to make it up in the future!

Another video finished overnight, because Im just about to leave again -for Greece this time!- and I only had yesterday and tonight to make this in time for the deadline (seems its becoming a habit. Sorry if this is anything but good!). And another one for MVT! I cant believe Ive come this far into the contest! But theres no way Im going to pass the round with this rushed vid (again)...anyway, considering the very short time I had, I think the outcome is at least in the realm of bare decency ;_;
For this round we had to vid a scene we wanted to change in the series. I chose Merlins retrieval of Excalibur in 3x13. Seriously, was I the only one who waited the whole episode for an actual Merlin/Freya reunion?? When she told him from the magical water that she would see him again I just jumped on my chair with excitement for them to actually reunite, even for the briefest of moments...and then we only got to see her arm! These two so deserved a final moment together.

This video is the direct product of my COL - aka Compulsive Obsessive Laziness syndrome that hit me in these days when I had absolutely no will to study. Easter holidays were really bad for my concentration, it seems ^^
I was inspired to make this video after seeing Remember Who You Are by the always-amazing LeahMarie624 (check her channel! http://www.youtube.com/user/LeahMarie624), which is an instrumental vid with the soundtrack from Beauty and the Beast (one of my favourite Disney films). After seeing that, I started thinking about my fave Disney soundtracks...and when I thought of Mulan I knew I had to vid something to its music, its too good!
And what else could I vid for my first all-intrumental vid? but Star Wars, of course.
The video follows Luke Skywalkers journey to discover the ways of the Force and also the truth about his (and his fathers) past.

Alternate title to this video: Vale ends up vidding dubstep music in her usual style, because I really cant do elaborate effects. The quality of the result, I guess, is yours to decide! In any case, poll had spoken, and I took a break from crossover manips and delivered :)
This project is one of many that had been sitting on my to-do folder forever Im really happy its seen the light of day at long last! What can I say, I had missed vidding my Faustian prequel boy ♥
I also realized later that this song not only is perfect for him (and particularly his fall into the dark side, with his visions of the future tormenting him), but the title of the remix offered me an irresistible internal pun on a silver platter, so I just couldnt *not* take that opportunity.
By the way, something I noticed just now even after all these years Haydens original Anakin is a bit less dark than Italian Anakin? In particular, I was rewatching the scene where he admits to Padmé that he killed all the Tuskens, and in English Haydens voice, while expressing anger, has a strong undertone of regret, breaking several times, while in Italian dub he sounds a lot angrier and more hateful rather than remorseful. From the English you get a strong sense of self-hatred from that scene that in Italian goes a bit lost, I think. (And then they said Hayden cant act 🙄). The subtle differences voiceacting can make are fascinating!
