First upload with some Merlin! I freaking love this show, can't wait for season 3 to start in Italy too! I think I'm seriously in love with Colin Morgan at the moment...he's seriously a talented actor, seems a wonderful person in real life, and he just looks so ADORABLE every time! Seriously, even if the writers screwed everything up in Merlin, I'd keep watching it just because of him =)
Okay, *turns fangirl mode off* enough of that :D but if there's someone out there who wishes to discuss more about Merlin just ask and I'll be right there!

Back to the actual video -- I have recently borrowed Legend from my dad's dvd collection when searching for some new fantasy films to feed my dreamy attitude, and I have to say that, despite being made in 1985 and having some cheesy moments, I absolutely loved it, it has a unique fairytale atmosphere -- plus young Tom Cruise looks just gorgeous in it! I don't know how many of you are familiar with this film, but I'll try to summarize the story as best as I can for those who aren't: the plot revolves around a couple of unicorns, the first of which gets killed by the evil agents of the Lord of Darkness (who wants to destroy the unicorns so that the sun would never rise again) because he's distracted by Princess Lily, who wishes to touch one even if it's forbidden. The murder of the unicorn causes a terrible winter to fall on the land, and meanwhile the princess and the female unicorn get captured and brought into the Lord of Darkness' palace. He tries to seduce Lily with beautiful gifts, and she seems to accept it as she tells him that she'll become his mistress if he lets her kill the second unicorn, but instead of killing him she breaks the chains and sets her free. In the end she's saved by Jack (Tom's character) who kills the Lord of Darkness and so spring is brought back again, as well as both the unicorns.
Anyway, I just happened to watch again episode 1x11 of Merlin right after finishing Legend, and basically murder of the unicorn here + murder of the unicorn there = this video :D

The story should be quite clear to follow I think, but since it's not in chronological order I'm posting the main plot points here:
- Merlin and Lily love each other.
- One day, Merlin takes Lily to see the unicorn (pretty much as Jack does in the movie). They don't see that they're followed by a hunter (it's not important that it's Arthur in this case, I just wanted to use someone else than the horrible goblins of the movie xD). Lily goes close and touches the unicorn, and this distracts him from sensing the danger so he gets killed.
- Terrible storms follow the unicorn's death. Lily's desperate for what she's done.
- Still following the movie, Lily and the second unicorn get captured and Merlin fails to save them. He goes after them into the palace of Darkness, but he can't reach Lily.
- Lily is lured by the beautiful objects she sees in the palace, and becomes the Lady of Darkness. She really plans to kill the other unicorn.
- Merlin walks in, sees Lily about to kill the unicorn and he's devastated. He doesn't want to believe she's changed, but has to prevent the second unicorn's death, or there will be day no more: so just when Lily is about to kill the unicorn, he uses magic against her, and she dies.
