Let’s take a look at Old Forester’s 12-Year-Old 2018 Birthday Bourbon. For this release there were 14,400 bottles released and they were bottled at 101 Proof. They’re didn’t list the details on the mashbill, but I believe it’s still the 72% Corn, 18% Rye and 10% Barley recipe. The MSRP on this one is $100 but due to it being allocated, it can be tough to find at that price. It can be found through secondary channels but expect to pay $350-$450. I apologize in the delay for this review (most states get it in the fall of the vintage), but it didn’t show up in my area until February/March of 2019.
