Here I review the new Limited Edition Booker’s Rye “Big Time Batch” Whiskey. It was one of the final batches of whiskey laid down by Booker Noe back in 2003. Well, 13 years, 1 month and 12 days later, his son Fred Noe decided it was ready for it to be bottled. Of course since it carries the Booker name, it is bottled at barrel strength (136.2 proof). Now due to limited availability and demand, it will be hard to find, but if you do see one, don’t be afraid of the $300 retail price. It is a very unique whiskey experience and is better than other American whiskies you could drop $300 on.
As of 06-14-2016, my current bottle count stands at over 2,300 bottles. I am a Certified Specialist of Spirits and have also been certified by the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT). I've been actively collecting for the last two decades and what started as a small basic home bar has transformed (with the help and understanding of my wonderful wife) into what I think is a pretty nice collection.
