Today we’re taking a look the Tin Cup Straight Rye Whiskey. Since it’s “Straight”, we know it’s at least 2 years old, and they’ve actually bottled it at just over 3. It created using sourced MGP rye with a mash bill of 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley. Once it’s dumped from the #3 charred oak barrels, they use Rocky Mountain spring water to cut it down to 90-proof and bottle it. It retails right around $30 and can be found at most stores. While I don’t find it crazy complex, I did find enough to enjoy it. And at only $30, I wouldn’t hesitate to make a cocktail out of it.
