Most of us already know this simple truth, but we don’t truly understand it: It’s pointless to worry about what other people think of us.
We still spend our precious energy worrying about how other people perceive us. Any amount of praise is immediately overshadowed by one small criticism.
But the thing is, most people are too wrapped up in their own worries, dreams and insecurities to give you a second thought. We're all just protagonists in our own narratives, grappling with our own problems.
Ask yourself this: how often do you think about the flaws and mistakes of other people? Rarely, if ever, right?
And so it is the same for them. They are too engrossed in their own complex lives to spare thoughts on you, especially negative ones.
So make a pact to silence the inner critic and embrace your authentic self. Life's too short to live by someone else's standards!

This is a short exercise to see if you have the most common negative belief that people have about themselves.
[TRANSCRIPT]:
Beliefs are deeper than thought, and thought is deeper than emotion.
What is emotion?
Emotion is a physiological response to our thinking.
And so if were tinkering with beliefs that resonate with you, that are true to you, youre going to feel it.
Youre going to feel it somewhere in your body.
Take a deep breath and say, Im not good enough. So what happened there?
Either the words were flat as if you said, I am the color blue, and it didnt make any sense at all, and you didnt feel anything in your body.
Now, if you do have it, if you had that deep feeling somewhere, maybe in your throat or your chest – that heaviness, congratulations! Youre human!
Its okay. This is what humans do.
