Are we willingly handing over our attention — the most valuable asset of our time? 💭
Drop a 🔥 if you’ve ever felt the pull of constant interruptions during your day.
(I never published this from 2020 - interesting to see where my mind was back then. I seem so young and naïve...)
I just watched the documentary The Social Dilemma and read Nir Eyal’s Indistractable, and wow—our screens are designed to distract us, and we’re letting them. Social media started as a way to connect, but now it’s a war for our focus.
The crazy part? The same folks who built these platforms know exactly how to keep us hooked—and they’re warning us to wake up. It’s a battle for attention, and winning it means protecting what’s truly important.
So, what can you do today? Turn off those notifications, block newsfeeds, and reclaim your focus. Because your time and attention are your most valuable assets.
Worth thinking about.
What’s one distraction you’re finally ready to cut out?
✨ Let me know below!

This is a short exercise to see if you have the most common negative belief that people have about themselves.
[TRANSCRIPT]:
Beliefs are deeper than thought, and thought is deeper than emotion.
What is emotion?
Emotion is a physiological response to our thinking.
And so if were tinkering with beliefs that resonate with you, that are true to you, youre going to feel it.
Youre going to feel it somewhere in your body.
Take a deep breath and say, Im not good enough. So what happened there?
Either the words were flat as if you said, I am the color blue, and it didnt make any sense at all, and you didnt feel anything in your body.
Now, if you do have it, if you had that deep feeling somewhere, maybe in your throat or your chest – that heaviness, congratulations! Youre human!
Its okay. This is what humans do.
