The 45 extant megalithic tombs near Menjez in Lebanon are sophisticated structures dating to the Chalcolithic and the Bronze Age. A new study called the 'MEG-A project - First megalith buildings in the northern Levant,' is shedding new light on these incredible monuments. In this video I discuss the excavation history of these tombs and look at some interesting research that's been done into them including a recent paper based around the current project that analyses their architecture and geomorphology.
