...So back in June I made a cobra weave survival bracelet out of some retted inner bark from a tree mallow. It's been six months now since I made it & it's been on my wrist the whole time subjected to daily showers, washing up & general wear so now I thought I'd unpick it & see if it was still usable.
.
...It took a while to unpick it but eventually I got it back to the eight foot of three ply cordage I started with. I strung it to a bow & put it to the test on a set of Malayan cherry & as you see it held out fine so it was a successful experiment.

...I'll keep the cord & see how many more embers I can spin up with it but meanwhile I'll have to make another bracelet & go for a twelve month test.
