While sitting by a lunch fire while out snowshoeing, I filmed and discussed my standard winter clothing system. I explain why I think that layers of wool and fleece are optimum for my style of winter travel and camping. The only shell I wear is my traditional cotton anorak/parka when it is really windy, or when gathering wood to protect my wool clothing from abrasion and dirt. Highlights of this video include a review of Empire Canvas Works gauntlet mitts which I am using for the first time and really like.
