Pot suspension rig over open fire using a fixed bar, square lashed to a tree, with bipod for other support end. Pot hanger sticks are X notched and carved as per the standard pot hanging method, and I used wire loops for hanging. The wire is almost weightless to carry and can be reused. This was my first attempt using this method and it worked out well. Footage from a solo winter trek in late February. Full credit goes to mentors and teachers for where I learned this from:
