Instead of a throwing line to raise your tarp ridge line high over a branch, you can often find a forked stick to reach the ridge line up and over a branch. A little trick, or hack that took me a long time to learn. On very branchy trees it can be impossible to throw a weighed line up and through branches and foliage. Threading the ridge line up and over with a stick often works better for me. Give it a try!
The tarp is a 10’x10’ Cooke Custom Sewing Tarp. CCS makes superb tarps and I have been using CCS tarps for many years.
